Position Summary
- The role involves managing accounting and financial operations, ensuring compliance with Nigerian regulations, preparing financial reports and analyses, and supporting payroll and project budgets.
- The candidate will also liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams to support smooth financial and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger).
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and support payroll.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and report variances.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies; assist with audits and statutory returns.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts; provide financial insights.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and clients; support procurement and payments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, ICAN) preferred.
- Experience: 3–6 years in accounting/finance, preferably in service, design, or manufacturing sectors; project-based or SME experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Accounting software proficiency, Excel, knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, payroll, and reporting standards.
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
