- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Officerto join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, statutory remittances, and ensuring full tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Handle LIRS-related filings, PAYE, withholding tax, and other statutory deductions
- Ensure timely remittance of taxes and statutory obligations
- Manage bank reconciliations, payment vouchers, and expense tracking
- Assist with budgeting, audits, and financial planning
- Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors when required
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Requirements
- HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–4 years experience as an Account Officer
- Hands-on experience with LIRS and statutory compliance is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Salary
