JOB SUMMARY:
- The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, negotiate contracts, and implement growth strategies to drive sustainable revenue and expand market presence. This role serves as a critical bridge between the company and potential clients, partners, and markets, ensuring the organization achieves its financial and strategic objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new markets, customer needs, and emerging industry trends
- Research and identify potential business partnerships, collaborations, and expansion opportunities
- Generate and pursue new sales leads by contacting prospective clients and partners
- Develop and present compelling proposals, quotations, and sales contracts
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financial implications
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, and HR teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Track and monitor sales performance, revenue growth, and key business development metrics
- Attend conferences, industry events, and networking engagements to build strategic relationships
- Respond to RFPs and vendor inquiries with accurate and compelling information
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, revenue, invoices, and client interactions using CRM systems
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar role
- Demonstrated track record of revenue growth and sales performance
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
