Job Description

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier / Sales Assistant to manage point-of-sale transactions and assist customers with their purchases.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure smooth checkout operations, provide excellent customer service, and support daily store activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers politely and assist them with inquiries
  • Operate cash registers, POS systems, and handle payments (cash, transfer, POS)
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or change accurately
  • Ensure correct pricing and product scanning
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
  • Assist with product display, stocking, and shelf arrangement
  • Monitor stock levels and report low or expired items
  • Resolve basic customer complaints professionally
  • Adhere to company policies and cash-handling procedures

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND
  • Previous retail experience is a strong advantage
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to organize and merchandise products effectively
  • Basic computer knowledge and POS operation skills
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle customer pressure professionally

Working Hours:

  • Alternate Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Alternate Weekends:
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Sunday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Public Holidays: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
