Description

  • The Office Secretary provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office.
  • The role involves managing correspondence, scheduling, records, and front-desk coordination while maintaining a professional and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:

  • Manage daily office activities, including filing, documentation, and record-keeping
  • Prepare letters, reports, memos, and other official documents
  • Maintain both physical and electronic filing systems

Communication & Coordination:

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as required

Scheduling & Office Management:

  • Manage calendars, appointments, and meeting schedules
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary

Data & Confidentiality:

  • Maintain confidential records and sensitive information securely
  • Update databases, staff records, and administrative logs

Support Functions:

  • Assist with basic HR and finance-related administrative tasks (e.g., staff documentation, expense tracking)
  • Support special projects and assignments as delegated by management

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Proven experience as an office secretary or administrative assistant
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • High level of discretion and professionalism

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 per month.
