Key Responsibilities
- Operate company trucks safely and responsibly to transport goods
- Load, secure, and unload cargo as required
- Plan and follow assigned routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure compliance with road safety laws and company policies
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks
- Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage or loss
- Keep the truck clean and in good condition at all times
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent with proven experience as a truck driver (2+ years preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (appropriate class for truck driving)
- Good knowledge of local and interstate routes
- Physically fit and able to handle loading activities
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Clean driving record
