The Chef Baker is responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts in line with company standards. The role ensures consistency, food safety, and timely production while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the bakery section.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items
Develop and follow standardized recipes and portion control
Ensure freshness, quality, and presentation of all baked products
Monitor baking processes and adjust temperatures and timing as required
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery area in line with food safety standards
Manage inventory of baking ingredients and request supplies when needed
Reduce waste and ensure cost control in the bakery section
Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to meet production demands
Train and supervise junior bakers or assistants when required
Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or NCE with 2-8 years experience.
