Job Description
- We are seeks a competent and experienced Facilitator to deliver its Certificate in Public Policy Analysis and Communication.
- The Facilitator will be responsible for teaching, mentoring learners, and supporting the effective delivery of programme content in line with AIBT’s academic and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and practical lectures in Public Policy Analysis and Communication.
- Facilitate discussions, case studies, simulations, and policy analysis exercises.
- Develop and review course materials in line with the approved curriculum.
- Assess learners through assignments, presentations, and examinations.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to learners.
- Submit timely reports on class progress, attendance, and assessments.
- Collaborate with the Academic Coordination Unit to ensure quality delivery.
- Uphold institutional academic and ethical standards.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of public policy analysis, governance, and policy communication.
- Excellent teaching, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex policy concepts for diverse learners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in digital learning tools and virtual facilitation platforms is an advantage.
Requirements
Education:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration, Development Studies, Communication, Law, or a related discipline.
- A PhD or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in public policy practice, research, advocacy, governance, or teaching/training.
- Prior experience facilitating adult learning, professional training, or executive education is highly desirable.
- Experience working with government, think tanks, NGOs, or international development organisations is an advantage.
