Job Description

  • We are seeks a competent and experienced Facilitator to deliver its Certificate in Public Policy Analysis and Communication.
  • The Facilitator will be responsible for teaching, mentoring learners, and supporting the effective delivery of programme content in line with AIBT’s academic and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and practical lectures in Public Policy Analysis and Communication.
  • Facilitate discussions, case studies, simulations, and policy analysis exercises.
  • Develop and review course materials in line with the approved curriculum.
  • Assess learners through assignments, presentations, and examinations.
  • Provide academic guidance and mentorship to learners.
  • Submit timely reports on class progress, attendance, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Coordination Unit to ensure quality delivery.
  • Uphold institutional academic and ethical standards.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of public policy analysis, governance, and policy communication.
  • Excellent teaching, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex policy concepts for diverse learners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in digital learning tools and virtual facilitation platforms is an advantage.

Requirements
Education: 

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration, Development Studies, Communication, Law, or a related discipline.
  • A PhD or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in public policy practice, research, advocacy, governance, or teaching/training.
  • Prior experience facilitating adult learning, professional training, or executive education is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with government, think tanks, NGOs, or international development organisations is an advantage.

  • Ability to work independently and meet academic deadlines.
  • Availability during scheduled teaching periods.
