Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal management
- Perform and supervise surgical and non-surgical gynaecological procedures
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and complex gynaecological cases
- Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations, ward rounds, and emergency reviews
- Collaborate with other consultants, nurses, and allied professionals to ensure quality outcomes
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in line with professional standards
- Participate in research, training, and hospital development programs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Candidates should possess an MBBS or MBChB from a recognized institution
- Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), National
- Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCOG), or an equivalent qualification
- Current full registration and practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
- Minimum of 2 years post-fellowship experience in obstetrics and gynaecology (preferred)
- Proven expertise in managing obstetric emergencies and performing advanced gynaecological procedures
- Excellent leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
- Female is needed for gender balance.
