Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage statutory reporting, tax filings (VAT, PAYE, WHT, Company Income Tax), and regulatory submissions.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Budgeting & Financial Planning:
- Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Support management with financial modeling and strategic planning.
- Provide financial insights to guide operational decision-making.
Accounts Management:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure optimal liquidity management.
Internal Controls & Risk Management:
- Implement and maintain effective internal control systems.
- Conduct periodic financial reviews and internal audits.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
Payroll & Tax Administration:
- Oversee payroll processing and statutory remittances.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax computations and payments.
- Provide advisory support on tax planning and compliance matters.

- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent certification).
- 2–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage,).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
