Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and skilled Barman to join our team at our client hotel in Benin City, Edo State.
- The ideal candidate must reside in Edo State and will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests while delivering excellent customer service.
- The Barman will play a key role in enhancing guest experience through professional bar service, efficient operations, and the ability to prepare a wide range of cocktails and mixed drinks in line with hotel standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
Bar Operations & Beverage Service:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Mix, garnish, and serve a variety of classic and contemporary cocktails
- Maintain high standards of bar presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene
- Ensure correct measurement, quality control, and consistency in drink preparation
Customer Service & Guest Engagement:
- Interact professionally with guests and recommend drinks based on preferences
- Ensure prompt and courteous service at all times
- Handle guest complaints or requests politely and escalate when necessary
Inventory & Compliance:
- Monitor bar stock levels and report shortages to management
- Minimize wastage and ensure proper handling of bar supplies
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Barman, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Must be a resident of Edo State
- Proven experience in cocktail preparation and mixology
- Knowledge of bar equipment, beverage handling, and presentation standards

Salary
N90,000 - N100,000 per month.
