Job Summary
- We seek a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team in Ife Ile, Osun State.
- The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods, staff, and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport company goods, staff, and equipment to designated locations.
- Plan routes and meet delivery timelines efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations while on duty.
- Conduct routine checks on the vehicle (oil, fuel, tyres, lights, etc.) to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Report any vehicle faults or maintenance needs promptly to management.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organised at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle servicing.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure proper handling of company goods to avoid damage or loss.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a professional driver.
- Familiarity with routes in Osun State and other South-West states.
- Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic repairs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be punctual, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision.
