Job Summary
- We are a leading FMCG company and major distributor of food products seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Operations Manager to support the management of our daily distribution and logistics operations.
- The successful candidate will assist in coordinating warehouse activities, inventory management, order fulfillment, and delivery operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily distribution, warehouse, and logistics operations
- Support coordination of order processing, picking, and dispatch
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records
- Assist in supervising warehouse staff and delivery personnel
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and partners
- Support implementation of operational policies and procedures
- Assist in preparing operational and inventory reports
- Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and quality standards
- Assist in resolving operational issues and customer delivery concerns
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 4–7 years experience in FMCG distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Experience in managing warehouse and distribution activities
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Good knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with major FMCG distributors
- Experience managing delivery operations and warehouse teams
- Knowledge of inventory systems or ERP is an added advantage

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
