Description
- The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the strategic leadership, management, and oversight of the Company’s financial operations, capital structure, treasury management, financial reporting, risk management, and long-term financial sustainability.
- The CFO serves as a key member of the Executive Management Team and plays a critical role in shaping corporate strategy, ensuring financial discipline, strengthening governance frameworks and supporting business growth and shareholder value creation.
- The role ensures that the Company maintains strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, prudent risk management practices, and transparent reporting to stakeholders.
Key Objectives of the Role
The CFO shall provide:
- Provide strategic financial leadership aligned with the Company’s long-term vision and growth objectives.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
- Safeguard the Company’s assets through effective internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Optimise capital structure, funding strategies and liquidity management.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support business expansion, investments, and strategic transactions through financial analysis and advisory.
- Enhance shareholder value through prudent financial stewardship and performance optimisation.

Reporting & Accountability:
The CFO shall report directly to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer and functionally to the Board or Audit Committee where applicable.
- The CFO shall provide regular financial performance reports to the Board and shareholders.
- The role shall ensure strict confidentiality of financial, strategic and investor-related information.
- The CFO shall ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and financial regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
- 8–12 years’ progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in financial services, corporate finance, investment management, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong knowledge of financial modelling, treasury management, tax planning and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
