Job Summary
- The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of short-stay properties to ensure a comfortable, safe, and high-quality experience for guests.
- The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to established cleaning and property standards.
Key Responsibilties
- Clean and prepare short-stay apartments, rooms, and common areas before guest check-ins and after check-outs;
- Ensure beds are properly made, linens and towels are cleaned, replaced, and well-arranged;
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, floors, windows, and surfaces to required hygiene standards;
- Replenish toiletries, amenities, and household supplies as needed;
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly to the supervisor;
- Follow established cleaning schedules and turnaround timelines for short-stay operations;
- Handle cleaning equipment and supplies responsibly and safely;
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene guidelines;
- Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times;
- Support periodic deep cleaning and property inspections;
- Carry out other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 1- 3 years experience
- Strong communication & customer service skills
- Experience in hospitality, Shortlet, Property management
- Must be able to move around Lekki / Ikoyi
- Tech-savvy (familiar with online booking platforms & WhatsApp Business).
