Job Summary

  • The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of short-stay properties to ensure a comfortable, safe, and high-quality experience for guests.
  • The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to established cleaning and property standards.

Key Responsibilties

  • Clean and prepare short-stay apartments, rooms, and common areas before guest check-ins and after check-outs;
  • Ensure beds are properly made, linens and towels are cleaned, replaced, and well-arranged;
  • Clean bathrooms, kitchens, floors, windows, and surfaces to required hygiene standards;
  • Replenish toiletries, amenities, and household supplies as needed;
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly to the supervisor;
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and turnaround timelines for short-stay operations;
  • Handle cleaning equipment and supplies responsibly and safely;
  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene guidelines;
  • Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times;
  • Support periodic deep cleaning and property inspections;
  • Carry out other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 1- 3 years experience
  • Strong communication & customer service skills
  • Experience in hospitality, Shortlet, Property management
  • Must be able to move around Lekki / Ikoyi
  • Tech-savvy (familiar with online booking platforms & WhatsApp Business).
