Job Summary
- Olsale Farms Limited is seeking an experienced and reliable Meat Store Worker to support daily operations in our meat store.
- The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience handling, processing, and selling meat products while maintaining high standards of hygiene, customer service, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Cutting, dressing, weighing, and packaging meat products appropriately
- Ensuring proper storage of meat to maintain freshness and quality
- Maintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Attending to customers, taking orders, and providing basic product guidance
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting low or spoiled inventory
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, tools, and equipment daily
- Supporting slaughtering and processing activities where required
- Preventing wastage and handling meat with care to reduce losses.
Requirements
- 3-5 years proven experience working in a meat shop, abattoir, or meat processing environment
- Strong knowledge of meat handling, preservation, and hygiene practices
- Ability to work long hours and handle physically demanding tasks
- Basic numeracy skills for weighing and pricing meat
- Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
