Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and upkeep of all facilities, including buildings, utilities, equipment, and common areas.
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure timely repairs of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and facility assets.
  • Source, supervise, and evaluate external vendors and service providers (cleaning, security, landscaping, waste management, repairs, etc.).
  • Verify work completion and authorize payments in line with approved contracts.
  • Supervise security personnel and access control systems.
  • Oversee facility upgrades, renovations, and fit-out projects when required.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related concerns from occupants and management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Technology, Estate Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in facilities or property management.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of building systems and facility operations.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Budgeting, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

  • May require after-hours or emergency response availability.
  • Occasional site inspections and supervision across multiple locations (if applicable).
