Job Description

WhiteKaftan Tailoring & Textiles (sometimes referred to as White Kaftan) is a fashion business in Nigeria focused primarily on bespoke tailoring and textile services, especially for traditional Nigerian attire like kaftans and related garments. From what has been noted previously, the company: Specializes in bespoke tailoring — custom-made garments where clients can choose their fabrics, designs, and fittings. Focuses on traditional and contemporary Nigerian fashion, blending cultural heritage with modern style. Offers ready-to-wear pieces.

 

Role Summary

  • The Front Desk Officer is the first point of contact for clients at WhiteKaftan.
  • This role requires a confident, well-spoken individual who can warmly receive clients, manage inquiries, support sales, and represent the brand with professionalism.
  • The ideal candidate is customer-focused, digitally savvy, and enthusiastic about contributing to the growth of a premium fashion brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and attend to clients professionally, both in person and via phone, WhatsApp, and social media.
  • Manage customer inquiries, bookings, fittings, and order follow-ups.
  • Assist clients with fabric selection, design discussions, and basic product information.
  • Support social media activities by responding to DMs, comments, and inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer visits, measurements, and appointments.
  • Coordinate with tailors and production staff to ensure smooth customer experience.
  • Keep the reception and showroom area clean, organized, and brand-presentable.
  • Handle basic administrative tasks and daily reports as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in any relevant field.
  • Prior experience in customer service, front desk, retail, or hospitality is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in dealing with clients from different backgrounds.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp Business, etc.).
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Willingness to learn, explore new ideas, and adapt in a fast-growing business.
  • Passion for fashion and customer service is an added advantage.
