Job Description

  • This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient execution of payment transactions, settlements, and reconciliations across all corridors.
  • You will play a key role in safeguarding liquidity, reducing operational risks, and supporting the end-to-end transaction lifecycle for our merchants and partners.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing everyday:

  • Transaction Processing: Monitor, process, and validate pay-in and payout transactions while ensuring compliance with SLAs and regulatory standards. Settlement Execution: Prepare and execute daily/bi-hourly settlement runs with banks, PSPs, and partners, ensuring ≥99.9% accuracy.
  • Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, settlement accounts, and internal GLs; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Liquidity Support: Provide treasury with accurate inputs for cash positioning and corridor funding requirements.
  • Risk & Control: Identify exceptions, revenue leakages, and potential risks; escalate and resolve within SLA.
  • Reporting: Generate daily settlement, reconciliation, and exception reports; provide insights to management for process improvements.
  • Process Improvement: Support automation, system enhancement, and workflow optimization initiatives. 

Minimum Requirements
Technical Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, or treasury operations, preferably in fintech, payments, or banking.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reconciliation tools.
  • Familiarity with payment systems (SWIFT, SEPA, Faster Payments, ACH, RTGS, local rails). Strong understanding of settlement cycles, GL entries, and cash management.
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
