POSITION SUMMARY
As an Accountant in Mikano Motors, you will be involved in monitoring daily transactions of the division, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial information to support our operations.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process daily financial transactions, including cash receipts, payments, and vendor invoices.
- Verify and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy
- Manage accounts payable by tracking and processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments.
- Handle accounts receivable by generating customer invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile bank statements to accounting records to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including sales, expenses, and general ledger entries
- Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, as required.
- Assist in financial analysis and budgeting processes.
- Maintain organized financial records for audit purposes
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ICAN certification is a plus).
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
