Description
- We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee end-to-end laboratory operations, ensuring accurate testing, regulatory compliance, and consistent turnaround times.
- This role leads quality systems, audit readiness, personnel supervision, and equipment/inventory management while maintaining the highest standards of safety, integrity, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily laboratory operations, workflows, and SOP compliance
- Lead quality control, quality assurance, and accreditation readiness
- Ensure full regulatory compliance (MLSCN, MoH, NHIS, etc.)
- Supervise and develop laboratory personnel
- Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory control
- Ensure result accuracy, validation, and timely release
- Manage risks, reporting, and corrective actions
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Science (or related field)
- Valid MLSCN practicing license
- 5–8 years’ laboratory experience, including supervisory/managerial roles
- Strong knowledge of laboratory quality systems, audits, and compliance
