Description

  • We need someone who can track every single unit across every single agent, every single day. No guessing.
  • No waiting.
  • If 3 units are missing from an agent in Abuja, you find them before you go home.
  • If stock disappears and you cannot explain where it went by close of business, this role is not for you.

What You Will Do

  • Track all inventory held by delivery agents across Nigeria. Every unit, every agent, every day.
  • Log weekly stock dispatches to each DA and confirm receipt.
  • Receive daily delivery reports from every DA: what was delivered, returned, damaged, and still held.
  • Reconcile every DA's stock at the end of every day. Opening stock + new stock received - deliveries - returns - damages = closing stock. If the numbers do not match, you investigate before you leave the office.
  • Chase delivery agents for their daily stock reports. If a DA has not reported by a set time, you call them. No waiting until tomorrow.
  • Build and maintain a live stock tracker that shows what every agent holds at any point. Management should be able to check it any time and see accurate numbers.
  • Track goods in transit between the office and DAs nationwide.
  • Flag agents with unusual patterns: high returns, stock losses, delayed reporting, or stock that sits without moving.
  • Investigate every discrepancy. 1 unit missing is 1 unit too many.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports to management.
  • Keep inventory tracking separate from payment tracking. Stock moves when goods move, not when money moves.

You Must Have

  • 2+ years of inventory management or stock control experience
  • Experience tracking stock across multiple locations, agents, drivers, or branches (not just one warehouse)
  • Experience reconciling stock dispatched vs stock returned vs cash remitted. Every unit and every naira must balance.
  • Ability to build and maintain a real time inventory tracker on Google Sheets that is accurate 24/7
  • Strong Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation at minimum)
  • Understanding that inventory moves when goods move, not when money moves. Stock tracking and payment tracking are separate.
  • Attention to detail that borders on obsessive. 1 missing unit is 1 too many.
  • Ability to chase 40+ delivery agents for daily stock updates without being asked
  • Comfort with being audited at any time.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in pure water, beverage, or FMCG distribution where you tracked stock dispatched to drivers and reconciled cash and returns daily
  • Experience tracking inventory held by field agents, delivery riders, or truck drivers on routes
  • Experience in ecommerce or logistics
  • Knowledge of inventory software (Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Accounting background.

Details:

  • Type: Full time with 3 month provisional period
  • Location: Office based, Yaba, Lagos.
  • Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm
  • Salary: N180,000/month base + up to N50,000 monthly performance bonus
  • Bonus structure: Zero unexplained stock losses in a month = full N50,000 bonus. Every unexplained loss reduces the bonus. Your accuracy is your income.
  • Start: Immediately
  • Trial: 3 day paid trial before formal offer.
