Job Summary

  • The Secretary provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office. The role involves managing correspondence, scheduling, record-keeping, and serving as a key point of contact for internal and external communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize office files, documents, and records (both physical and electronic).
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain management calendars.
  • Prepare reports, memos, letters, and other official documents.
  • Receive visitors, clients, and direct them appropriately.
  • Take meeting minutes and ensure proper follow-up on action points.
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate procurement when necessary.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and logistics when required.
  • Ensure confidentiality of company information at all times.
  • Support other administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE / OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Administration or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Professional appearance and interpersonal skills.
