Role Overview
- The Engineering Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities, managing operational data, monitoring performance, and providing clear insights to management.
- This role focuses on planning, structure, reporting, and team coordination, complementing the technical expertise within the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily activities of the Engineering Unit across locations
- Develop and manage engineering schedules, work plans, and operational workflows
- Collate, analyze, and manage engineering data, reports, and performance metrics
- Monitor compliance with engineering SOPs, safety standards, and company policies
- Provide regular operational reports and insights to management to support decision-making
- Support resource planning, workload distribution, and capacity management
- Work closely with the Head of Engineering to improve structure, accountability, and execution
- Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering operations, technical operations, or engineering coordination roles
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows, project coordination, and operational reporting
- Proven experience in managing teams, schedules, and operational data
- Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills
- Ability to translate technical activities into clear management insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
