This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Port Harcourt.
The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records, managing budgets, overseeing payrolls, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and internal accounting policies.
Additional duties include reporting financial performance to key stakeholders, reconciling accounts, and assisting in financial audits to support the company's financial integrity and growth initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
Handling all accounts payable and receivable.
Preparation of financial reports, and financial statements for the organization as well as its clients.
Ensure tax compliance and timely submission of statutory filings (e.g., VAT, PAYE, corporate tax).
Recording transactions, payments, and expenses, and processing invoices.
Communicating effectively with cash and billing staff across branches to ensure timely remittance of cash.
Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., CBN, SEC, IFRS, FIRS).
Display proficiency in working with relevant accounting software
Handling queries related to accounts and preparing error-free accounting reports.
Any other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and managing accounts
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience in finance, (Real Estate Sector experience is a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Strong skills in financial analysis, compliance, and tax preparation
Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and critical thinking skills
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
