Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Procurement Officer role located in Lagos Island. The Senior Procurement Officer will oversee and manage procurement operations, including evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality materials. The role also involves analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for cost reductions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement standards. The officer will collaborate with internal teams to understand material needs and maintain strong relationships with external vendors.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Procurement and Purchasing processes.
• Strong skills in Purchase Orders and Contract Negotiation.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for identifying cost-saving opportunities and evaluating supplier performance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor relations and internal collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Ability to work on-site at Lagos Island and ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
